Lessons Learned From Mentors

Use it to reinvent yourself

TWT Newsletter #17

It is worthwhile to reflect and reinvent yourself from time to time; this will make you more conscious and self-aware. With heightened consciousness and being, you can reach new levels.

“What you think you become. What you feel you attract. What you imagine you create.”

- Buddha

This week, I did just that - I went through a period of immense self-reflection on who I want to become, what I want to attract, and how I want to think. This led to many breakthroughs in reinventing myself. This was through an accumulation of what I know about myself and the perspective I’ve learned from my mentors. I’ve spent hours reviewing their best lessons and I want to share them with you (in a condensed version).

3 Powerful Things I’ve Learned From Mentors

The Power of Being

Who you need to become is the first step to reach the level of success you want. A daily ritual to practice is to imagine who you will become in ten years and feel what that person feels at the present moment. Hold that state of consciousness, that level of frequency and vibration for as long as you can. This is the power of Being. And once you can achieve it - it will take you to your goals and levels of success/wealth faster.

Ex: I’ve been journaling and meditating about what 2033 William looks like. I envision what his life looks like and how he is feeling at that moment now. What habits does he have? What kind of relationships does he have? What actions would he take? The longer I can hold that feeling, it will allow me to think and execute at his level now. Allowing me to do things at a higher caliber such as buy more Real Estate and Businesses to get me closer to future him.

Manifestation and the Law of Attraction

Manifestation first comes from your thoughts. The more you focus and think about something, the more energy you put into its creation. The more you put power and action into that thought, the law of attraction will follow. It becomes a reality when you attract it. Remember the law of attraction only attracts similar things. As a result, you attract more of what you are. So to attract something better you need to be better, in order to receive it.

Ex: Last year I set out a goal to purchase 2 Real Estate properties. It was half way through November and I only bought 1 by then. I didn’t think I was going to be able to (and less than a month to close on one), but I completely changed my mindset and was committed. I wrote down everyday in my journal that I would purchase another. With that mindset shift, and journaling everyday, a property that met my buy box appeared! Just like that I attracted and manifested the house/deal I was looking for and was able to close in less than two weeks. In the final month of the year I acquired two homes. The power of manifestation.

Peace of Mind

Peace of mind is overlooked when we are on the path to wealth and success. But understand that there's power in simplicity and peace. So reflect and focus on the thoughts that aren’t serving you that may come from past experiences or traumas. Whatever you are holding on to: a grudge, feelings, traumas - that is in the past. Don’t forget, but let go. Because once you make peace with something, you don’t attract it anymore.

Ex: There was a trauma that happened when I was a teenager that led me to drop out of high school and leave my home. During that time and years after, I used that trauma and the fear/anger that came with it to push myself to success. Getting into a top university and studying the best major, landing me a 6 figure job. But at the same time, I was living in a state of fear and scarcity. As I continued to have thoughts based on this prior experience, it kept attracting things out of fear and scarcity. Once I came to peace with what happened and moved on. It allowed me to reach this new mindset of abundance and peace. Which has fueled more success in one year than that period of time.
